Full movie: https://www.halloweennoircut.com The Blumhouse Halloween Trilogy, directed by David Gordon Green and starring Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode, consists of Halloween (2018), Halloween Kills (2021), and Halloween Ends (2022). I cut the trilogy into one cohesive film in black and white removing color. The monochrome helps set the mood with this film noir effect that is especially apparent in the night scenes. About the cut: It has been 40 years since Laurie Strode first came face-to-face with her boogeyman on Halloween night, and the trauma continues to haunt her. Unable to fully move on, Laurie’s obsession with the past has strained her relationships, particularly with her daughter, Karen, leaving her isolated from much of her family. Like Laurie, the town of Haddonfield has never recovered from the events of 1978. Fear and suspicion linger among its residents, who are quick to blame one another for tragedy and remain haunted by the legacy of Michael Myers, known as "The Shape," who vanished after the destruction of Haddonfield Memorial Hospital. Meanwhile, Corey Cunningham becomes an outcast after a tragic accident claims the life of a boy he was babysitting. Shunned by the community and consumed by resentment, Corey gradually descends into darkness. His path eventually crosses with that of an aging and weakened Michael Myers, now living in the sewers beneath Haddonfield. An unlikely bond forms between the two, setting them on a violent path that reignites terror throughout the town. As Halloween night approaches, their partnership unleashes a series of brutal murders, culminating in a bloody and deadly showdown that forces Laurie to confront evil one final time. ----- There are certain limitations with scenes like wardrobe and makeup, as I did not use any AI in the making of this. I also used most of Laurie's story in both Halloween and Ends, which feels uneven but I think better represents her PTSD of surviving, finding ways to move on, and also relapsing into negative headspaces, especially when in the presence of her daughter. Overall this was a fun project to work on. #HalloweenTrilogy #MichaelMyers #Halloween
