The mics range in price from $11.95 to $99. The models are Shure SM57, Behringer XM8500, Behringer XM1800S, Nady SP4-C and Pyle PDMIC58, The low cost mics seem to do very well when they are plugged directly into the camcorder. Every mic is tested with no audio enhancement and with the same volume during the editing. I use the Magix Pro 2013 to edit the video and to change the audio from one track stereo to two track mono. Thanks for watching. Tom Wilett
