POLARISATION and SUSCEPTIBILITY in DIELECTRIC || in HINDI

In this Physics video lecture in Hindi for class 12 we explained electric polarisation and susceptibility of a dielectric material. When a dielectric material is placed in an external electric field, its molecules become dipoles and orient themselves in a certain direction depending upon the electric field and hence they create a net electric dipole moment in the dielectric. The dipole moment per unit volume is called the electric polarisation created in that dielectric. And created polarisation per unit external electric field is known as the electric susceptibility of that dielectric material.
