79th Charleston Gazette-Mail Kanawha County Majorette and Band Festival

The 79th Charleston Gazette-Mail Kanawha County Majorette and Band Festival returns to Laidley Field in Charleston on Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2026! HD Media is providing live coverage of the festival. The live stream is sponsored by Gorby’s Music. 🥁Bands from all eight public high schools in Kanawha County will perform beginning at 6:30 p.m., with special guest “The Pride of West Virginia,” the Mountaineer Marching Band from West Virginia University. 🎟️Advance tickets will be on sale at Gorby’s Music in South Charleston and at Laidley Field in Charleston for $8.Tickets may be purchased at Laidley Field on the day of the festival for $10.00.
