A piano’s quality starts long before the first note is played.

In Part 2 of our Blüthner factory tour, we take a closer look at the structure beneath the finish—from the wood rim and soundboard supports to the cast-iron frame and the fitting of components. Seeing these parts come together helps explain why careful construction matters to the finished instrument. At Reeder Pianos, we want you to understand what you’re buying. Looking inside a piano—and learning how it’s built—is part of understanding its value. That same attention to the instrument matters when considering a bespoke crystal piano through Luxe Edition Pianos, our division for one-of-a-kind art pianos and design professionals. Appearance is part of the decision, alongside musical performance and how the piano will fit your home or project. Contact Reeder Pianos to explore purchasing a piano or to plan a visit!
