Wainwrights Walk 28 - Fellbarrow and Low Fell

Our walk starts at Low Lorton near The Wheatsheaf pub and heads across the River Cocker passing a popular car parking area (which we didn't see until we had already parked). There is a lot of tarmac walking to begin with, although they are small, mainly disused country lanes with nice views. The walk to Wainwrights just gets better and better the further you go with subjectively the best views at Low Fell and Bield. This walk does have a very easy start but you may want to take walking sticks as there are a couple of steep sections where the extra stability and grip would be welcomed.
