Signs he likes you - what the research actually supports, and what it does not - https://psychologyofdating.net/y
Nearly every list on this topic is body-language folklore: his feet point at you, he touches his hair, he mirrors your drink. Some of that has real research underneath it and some is repeated until it sounds true - and almost none of those lists tell you which is which. This one does. It names the claims I could NOT trace to a primary study, explains the one piece of the mirroring story that IS well documented (and why the popular version has it backwards), and then gives you the finding that is actually worth watching for: not a gesture, but whether he turns toward the small approaches you make.
This is not a set of techniques for making somebody like you. It is about reading a situation honestly, which is a different job.
I am not a therapist and I am not qualified to diagnose anyone. Two things are flagged out loud in the video: quiet is not the same as uninterested, and the Love Lab figure comes from married couples over years rather than from a third date - the mechanism is borrowed, not the statistic.
Sources referenced, on screen with the year:
Gottman & Levenson, University of Washington Love Lab - 130 newlywed couples
Chartrand & Bargh, Journal of Personality and Social Psychology 76, 1999
