Purple Primer | Fuzzy Guitars & Garage Trouble

Purple Primer on My Shoes — an original song by Lumavory. Fuzz guitar, wah-wah colors and a psychedelic blues-rock groove. A funny English song about a paint job that decorated everything except the car. English vocals and original lyrics. Animated dust and atmospheric light halos. LYRICS I bought a can of primer, said, "I'll paint the car today." The wind had other notions and it carried half away. My neighbor's little lawn gnome has a psychedelic grin. The mailbox changed its color, and the cat won't let me in. I wore my fancy sneakers, thought I'd keep them out of sight. Now they're limited editions glowing purple in the light. Purple primer on my shoes, silver overspray in my hair. I aimed it at the fender, but it landed everywhere. The car still looks unfinished, but the whole street's looking new. I'm a one-man decoration crew with purple primer blues. I taped up all the windows, made a mask out of the news. The headline said, "Local genius," so I thought I'd never lose. The tape came off the bumper, took the old paint with it too. Now the car has racing stripes I never meant to do. My buddy said, "It's cosmic, like a comet on a spree." I said, "It better fly now, that's the bus stop calling me." Purple primer on my shoes, silver overspray in my hair. I aimed it at the fender, but it landed everywhere. The car still looks unfinished, but the whole street's looking new. I'm a one-man decoration crew with purple primer blues. The body shop called Monday, said, "We saw your work online." I thought they'd offer me a job; they offered me a sign. It said, "Please don't attempt this," with my picture underneath. I framed it in the garage, right beside my masterpiece. Purple primer on my shoes, but the sunset makes it shine. Every dent has got a story, every color clash is mine. I'll leave the spray gun resting, let the guitar see me through. The only thing I'm painting now is a brand-new shade of blues. A brand-new shade of blues. #BluesRock #GuitarMusic #OriginalSong #Lumavory
