My First Puget Sound Fishing Trip! | Salmon, Rockfish & Crabbing – Marine Area 11

This was my first time taking my “new-to-me” boat out on Puget Sound — and we headed to Marine Area 11 around Point Defiance and Vashon Island! The goal was salmon, but the fishing didn't quite go the way we hoped. Mainly because we didn't have any downriggers. We picked up a few shakers and managed to catch a rockfish, but the real adventure was learning the ropes on the Sound with a new boat. We also tried crabbing for the first time, putting two pots down and ending the day with one crab.
