NEFL Eagles ~ Beau Brings In BIG STICKS & One Almost OVERBOARD! Sweet Beakies With Gabby! 💕 9.12.26

The video opens with Beau laying in the nest in the early morning hours. He loves to test out the nest and is the first one to do so each season! Gabby will drop down to the nest and they share morning beakies & do some aerating of the nest. Beakies are commonly seen when a pair of bald eagles are both aerating the nest and/or performing nestorations. These little pecks are their communication to one another. Gabby flies off and Beau will fly off as well. They will bring in five sticks (Beau four and Gabby one). Three of Beau's sticks are big - they look like about 6' long and Beau almost loses one but is able to save it - it is hanging down on the side of the nest. Beau is a hard worker and he can bring in huge sticks for this already huge nest! Beau also likes to bring in Spanish moss for softness for the future eggs! Gabby likes to bring in pine boughs for greenery. All this is happening early - the season has not even officially started yet. Oct 1st - May 15th is the FL eagle nesting season.
