An open blue shutter frames an alpine lake, hillside village and mountains wrapped in low cloud. Rest beside a small candle in the deep stone window recess while fine rain falls beyond the opening. Ten hours of soft open-valley rain, restrained nearby surface patter and long, low distant thunder for sleep, reading or quiet rest. No music, voices, traffic or added lake sounds. Audio begins with a gentle fade-in. The brief welcome disappears by 0:07, and the moving scene remains visible throughout. Set a comfortable playback volume. VISUAL DESIGN Original artwork was prepared for animation with Python, NumPy and OpenCV. Fine rain is projected at different depths beyond masks fitted to the open window and its handle. A slow low-mist layer crosses the valley without moving the mountain contours, and restrained optical displacement shifts selected lake reflections inside the shoreline. The candle flame changes shape above a fixed wick with correlated local light on the side glass and holder. The shutter, village, stonework, blanket and camera stay fixed. FFmpeg assembles the reviewed 60-second visual loop. This is an authored environment using particles, mist, local water displacement and flame compositing, not filmed location footage or a full fluid or combustion simulation. ORIGINAL SOUND DESIGN Python, NumPy and SciPy synthesize and mix this episode’s full ten-hour soundtrack. A 97–4890 Hz rain bed and quieter 620–5260 Hz surface-detail layer receive additional tonal filtering for an open valley heard from a sheltered window recess. Restrained nearby taps, soft side-pane detail and moderate stereo width keep the rain close and diffuse. Occasional low mountain-style thunder uses soft attacks, long decays and subdued upper frequencies, with varied spacing. The full arrangement was generated for this episode rather than repeating a finished short soundtrack. FFmpeg encodes the audio, and the original same-episode AAC stream is preserved without re-encoding in this moving edition. No third-party recordings, music or another episode’s soundtrack are used. Artwork, animation code, audio settings, preview stems and the full weather/thunder score are retained as production records.
