EICMA 2026 is almost here, and retro is back. These are the neo-retro motorcycles for the 2027 model year that we expect to see in Milan, based on what was shown at CIMA 2026 and earlier reveals: scramblers (Honda CB250SS, ZXMOTO 350 Scrambler), roadsters (Honda CB500 Super Four, ZXMOTO 500F), and cruisers (ZXMOTO 600V, Benda Gypsy series).
⚠️ This is a forecast, not a confirmation. None of these bikes has been officially confirmed for EICMA 2026. Some of them were already shown or even sold elsewhere, and some are only concepts or prototypes. I will pin an update once the official lineups are announced.
What we know so far
Honda CB250SS: a retro-styled 250 cc concept shown at CIMA 2026, aimed at young riders. Reportedly focused on the Chinese market, so an EICMA appearance is unlikely.
ZXMOTO 350 Scrambler: a pre-series prototype from CIMA 2026 with an air/oil-cooled single. Power is reported at roughly 31-36 hp and weight at about 130 kg dry, but there is no official data yet.
Honda CB500 Super Four: 502 cc inline-four, about 80 hp claimed, with Honda's E-Clutch. First shown at CIMA 2025. Global availability is still to be confirmed.
ZXMOTO 500F: a retro roadster with a 470 cc inline-four and Honda-inspired styling. It debuted at EICMA 2025, and a 2027 version was launched at CIMA 2026.
ZXMOTO 600V: 578 cc V-twin cruiser, around 195 kg claimed, with a cylinder deactivation system. ZXMOTO says its cruisers mainly target China.
Benda Gypsy series: reportedly shown at CIMA 2026 (a V-twin with CVT and an air-suspension bobber), but details are unconfirmed.
