Father & Son Cruise Adventure | Egypt's Pyramids, Greek Islands & Italy

Join us for another father-and-son adventure as we embark on an unforgettable two-week journey from Athens to Barcelona, visiting the Pyramids of Egypt, the beautiful Greek islands and some of Italy's most spectacular destinations. We've travelled together through India, Australia, New Zealand, Africa and Alaska, but this time we're doing something a little different. We're joining **Explorations by Norwegian's Regatta**, a small cruise ship carrying around 670 passengers, for a Mediterranean adventure that includes an overnight stop in Alexandria, giving us the chance to travel independently into Cairo and fulfil one of Dad's lifelong ambitions: visiting the Great Pyramids of Giza. Along the way, we explore ancient cities, discover beautiful beaches, enjoy some spectacular scenery and experience the occasional mishap. As always, there's plenty of laughter, a little history and absolutely no shortage of father-and-son banter! 🌍 *OUR JOURNEY* 🇬🇷 *ATHENS, GREECE* – Exploring the magnificent Acropolis before boarding Regatta. 🇪🇬 *ALEXANDRIA & CAIRO, EGYPT* – An independent overnight adventure to the Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx and the Grand Egyptian Museum, including a horse-and-cart tour around the pyramids. 🇬🇷 *RHODES* – Exploring the remarkable medieval Old Town and its historic streets. 🇬🇷 *SANTORINI* – Visiting Oia, the famous blue-domed churches and those unforgettable views over the caldera. 🇬🇷 *KATAKOLON* – A relaxed day of swimming, sunshine and exploring the coastline. 🇮🇹 *MESSINA & TAORMINA, SICILY* – Travelling independently by train and bus to discover the ancient Greek theatre and spectacular views across the Ionian Sea. 🇮🇹 *SORRENTO & POSITANO* – Taking a ferry along the stunning Amalfi Coast to one of Italy's most photographed seaside towns. 🇮🇹 *ROME* – A whirlwind sightseeing adventure through the Eternal City. 🇪🇸 *BARCELONA* – Our final destination, with just enough time to enjoy some of Gaudí's extraordinary architecture before heading home. 🚢 *ABOUT OUR CRUISE* Ship: Regatta Cruise line: Explorations by Norwegian Duration: 12-night cruise, plus time in Athens Dates: September 2026 Route: Athens to Barcelona, via Egypt, Greece and Italy Unlike many cruise passengers, we arrange most of our own excursions, using local trains, buses, ferries and private transport.
