I Took the Mountain Road to Sitges 🇪🇸 | Garraf, Gravel Roads & an Abandoned Castle

Join me for a scenic drive through the mountains of Garraf, taking the back roads from the Barcelona–Sitges highway all the way down to Sitges, Spain. 🇪🇸 The drive begins as I leave the highway near Urbanització Vallbona and head into Parc del Garraf. From here, the road climbs through the rugged landscape towards Mirador de la Serra del Lladre, with beautiful views across the Garraf mountains. Continuing deeper into the park, I pass the Buddhist monastery Sakya Tashi Ling before making a stop at the abandoned Castell de Jafre. From Castell de Jafre, the journey gets a little more adventurous as the paved road gives way to gravel. I follow Camí de Sitges a la Plana Novella through the quiet countryside and mountains before eventually descending towards Cementiri Les Pruelles and arriving in Sitges.
