S88 MINUTES ENIGMA / ENYA / ERA The Grass Sea 🦅 | Oud, Ney & Silk Road | Dark New Age

DESCRIPTION: Step onto the ancient Silk Road by night. 🦅 Let the room go dark, breathe out slowly, and ride with them across the grass until the sand begins again. Bienvenidos a la antigua Ruta de la Seda de noche. | Добро пожаловать на древний Шёлковый путь ночью. | Willkommen auf der alten Seidenstraße bei Nacht. Month eight of the two-year road. Past the mountains, the caravan traded silk for horses at a summer pasture and drove them across a sea of grass with no trees and no roads. A thunderstorm scattered the herd. A flooded river nearly took a pack horse, and she had to cut it free. Wolves circled the fire all night, and before dawn a mare gave birth on the open steppe. We do this in our own lives too: we lose something on the way, cut it loose to save what matters more, and carry on with what is left. I didn't want this to sound like a wild ride. I wanted it to sound like lying in long grass at night when the wind stops, and all you can hear is something breathing close by. There are almost no voices, only strings, reeds and breath. One thing is with her in every picture, and it gets shorter all the way across the grass - watch for it, and tell me what it becomes in the last picture. ✨ Perfect for: • Deep focus, study and late-night reading • Restless nights when you need something steady to breathe with • Meditation and quiet reflection • Long drives and quiet night work • Dark academia and ancient Silk Road atmosphere 🔊 Soundscape Elements: Hypnotic 90s New Age, Ethereal Trance and Dark Ambient Ney, oud, qanun, kamancheh, duduk, santur, rabab, setar and tar Breath-like textures with only the rarest distant voice Spaces you can hear: a felt tent by the fire, a storm over open grass, a flooded river, a sleeping herd under the stars 🎧 Headphones recommended - when the storm passes and the herd lies down to sleep, the music goes so quiet you can almost hear the grass. ⏳ TRACKLIST & JOURNEY TIMESTAMPS: 00:00 01 Yaylov - The Summer Pasture 04:00 02 Ot - Choosing the Horses 08:36 03 Savdo - Silk for Horses 13:03 04 Uyur - Into the Running Herd 17:36 05 Egar - Saddles at Sunrise 21:50 06 Dasht - A Sea of Grass 26:35 07 Kol - Horses at the Salt Lake 30:54 08 Momaqaldiroq - The Storm Breaks 35:24 09 Chaqin - Chasing the Runaway 39:50 10 Daryo - The Flooded Ford 44:35 11 Oqim - Cut Free in the Current 48:44 12 Bori - Eyes in the Grass 52:55 13 Qorovul - The Night Watch 57:16 14 Toy - A Foal Before Dawn 1:01:56 15 Tuyoq - First Steps 1:06:21 16 Shudring - Dew on the Steppe 1:11:02 17 Jimlik - The Sleeping Herd 1:15:06 18 Tosh - The Stone Men 1:19:48 19 Ufq - Where the Grass Ends 1:23:59 20 Erta - Morning at the Last Camp ✨ If this journey kept you company, subscribe and join the Eagle Caravan - one long night on the old road, every release.
