2026/08/23 - Noah Terpening - Sunday Dharma Talks

Noah Terpening (Resident Manager Assistant) began his practice at the Iowa City Zen Center in a time of grief. Finding solace on the cushion, he now serves as Vice President on the board there. He also sits online with the Pamsula Zen Center, lead by Rev. Daiken Nelson. Noah has left his home in Moline, Illinois, to stay and work at Hokyoji. In his youth, Noah was a leader at his local 4-H club, and maintains a love of practical craft and impractical art. A veteran of the IT industry, Noah enjoys long walks in nature, good stories, and bad jokes. He hopes to help cultivate community and promote places to practice for any and all.
