September 19 - God is Working While You Wait

Do you assume that because you can't see anything moving, nothing actually is? We close out this week on trusting God in the waiting with a reminder from Isaiah 64:4. God's activity was never contingent on your ability to see it. In this devotional, we cover: Why we equate visibility with activity, and how that limits our faith What Isaiah 64:4 means by God "acting on behalf of those who wait" A simple explanation of why absence of visible evidence isn't evidence of absence How this week's journey (expectation to trust) comes full circle A practical way to trust God's unseen work A grounded prayer of gratitude in advance of the evidence Reflection prompt: What's one area of your life where you've assumed nothing is happening and what would it look like to trust that it is, even without proof yet? If this met you where you are, subscribe for daily devotionals that bring together Scripture, emotional wellness, and practical tools for real life.
