Stand to Be Counted: A Father’s Day Spoken-Word Lamentations (Inspired by Lucky Dube) This solo spoken-word performance is a first-person narrative addressing the different types of missing fathers our children face today, from the physically absent to the emotionally unavailable and the secret families hidden in the shadows. Inspired a song l grew up singing to, Lucky Dube’s "Remember Me," this video is a direct call to action for every father to stop hiding, return to the original design, and finally stand to be counted.
