Once you finalize to go to a place like this, it's important to be under the guide/company of someone who's a go-to. After staying with Rovan at his Vasthan Homestay for 2 days, I can vouch on his hospitality management skills and encyclopedic knowledge of Singbongdera and the places in and around. Besides being an Entrepreneur, Social Activist and Tour Planner, Rovan is that jolly guy who's full of jokes and hopes. In his company, one can never have a dull moment. He walks a lot and that's an advantage for those willing to explore Singbongdera by hiking. He's everything that you can imagine in Offbeat Tourism.
