This is one of the video of our video series of project TechPaila. In this video, Er. Saroj Dahal shares his experience of studying Technical and Vocational Stream (Computer Engineering) in high school (Grade 9 to 12) and how it helped him get a job after grade 12, in his bachelors, masters, and start his own company. Saroj Dahal have been working on Tech market since 2017. But he is familiar to tech since Grade 9. He started off with Java Developer, later on switched to web and mobile development. Currently does, Development (Desktop/Mobile/Web) to Cloud, to little bit of DevOps and AI/ML. He is the Founder/CTO of 28Softwares and teaches "Data Analysis and Visualization" to 8th Semster BCA Students as lecturer at DAV College. For more information, visit: https://cosognepal.org/programs/techp... Why TechPaila exists Nepal’s government already funds technical streams in hundreds of secondary schools — computer engineering, civil, electrical, plant science, animal science, agriculture. They start from Grade 9 and they cost nothing. But the information about these schools sits in a government booklet, as a table in an annex, as a PDF. If you know the document number, you can find it. If you’re a 14-year-old in a village who wants to learn to code, you never will — and neither will your parents or your teacher. TechPaila puts every one of those 537 schools on a map — so finding the right school stops depending on who you happen to know. What it does 1. Interactive map with recommendations: Click your province, then your district and municipality, and schools appear. You can filter without the map as well. 2. Bilingual: English and Nepali: Every single information exists in both Nepali and English languages, and the entire interface switches with one tap. 3. Built for rural students: Designed to be legible on a low-end phone, on an unreliable connection, accessible to people using tools like this for the first time. 4. Recommendation System: Pick a program and share your location, and TechPaila ranks the nearest schools with a clear reason for each result. #computerscience #cosognepal #job
