Building a dual flowmeter/regulator for my TIG welder for CHEAP!

Building a dual flowmeter/regulator setup for less than $10 to allow me to back purge my stainless steel exhaust that I'm going to be building soon. I used a spare regulator/flowmeter that I found lying around, a 1/4" NPT tee fitting, and a 1/4" NPT male to male union fitting. If you want to complete this on your own and don't have another flowmeter, an Eastwood one will run you around $80 or other used regulators/flowmeters can be bought decently cheap on eBay.
