Auchterarder Fish Pass Ruthven Water

The fish pass in Auchterarder is found at the bottom of Ruthven Street. It is a pool and weir type fish pass and it about 5ft high. It was built to control the river as it flows through a tunnel underneath the duel carriageway. Ruthven Water flows into the River Earn and there are no barriers to fish migration downstream of here so salmon and sea trout should be able to reach here.
