Mt Hutt | Rakaia Saddle Chutes (10/11 July 2026)

Skiing the Rakaia Saddle Chutes at Mt Hutt over Matariki weekend. This terrain is only open around 10 days per season — so if you're lucky enough to be there when it's open, it's well worth making the most of it. When the Rakaia Saddle Chutes are open, free shuttle buses operate from the Rakaia Saddle Carpark and along the access road to return skiers to the base area.
