Why Splatoon Will NEVER Introduce Salmonlings

Ever since Splatoon 2, fans have been clamoring for the addition of Salmonlings to the Splatoon series. However with each passing game, the likelihood of that happening seems to be getting lower and lower. At the same time, fans have been restlessly awaiting the day Salmonids are treated as more than creatures by the marketing and games themselves. This topic can get pretty heated... so WE (Dan and Don) have organized some thoughts on it! By using everything we know about Octolings and Salmonids, hopefully we can try to understand what Nintendo wants these characters and their treatment to represent.
