Frame HER | Episode 4 – She Came as a Nurse and Left Like a Model

Hi, I’m Daria Koso, a Miami-based fashion photographer, and in this episode of FRAME HER, we transformed Ekaterina — a nurse practitioner and a single mom who’s spent years helping others in hospital — into a high-fashion editorial muse. And honestly, the transformation surprised all of us! What if the woman working long hospital shifts every day… secretly had the energy of a fashion icon the whole time? FRAME HER is unveiling series where real women step into an iconic version of themselves they’ve never fully seen before. It's a project for real women with real stories — reimagined through styling, lighting, beauty, and creative direction. This episode felt especially powerful because most days, Ekaterina wears medical scrubs, works long hours, and lives in a completely different environment than fashion. But underneath that soft baby face, wavy hair, and natural femininity, there was also a very strong editorial presence waiting to come out. So this time, we decided to completely shift her image. Instead of soft waves, we went with sleek straight hair and stronger makeup to emphasize her facial features and create a sharper, more fashion-forward energy. And the transformation was unreal. ✨ We created 3 completely different editorial looks: • A brown edgy bodysuit with a long trench coat that perfectly matched her brown eyes and warm hair tones • A powerful red suit with dramatic shoulders that made her legs look endlessly long and gave strong fashion-icon energy • A glamorous chocolate dress with an open back — feminine, elegant, and cinematic Each look brought out a different side of her personality, but all of them felt like they belonged in a fashion campaign or magazine editorial.
