Hello, this is Hidden Seoul. Today, we explore the old alleys of Sageun-dong, a hillside neighborhood tucked away behind Hanyang University. Long before modern apartment buildings surrounded the area, Sageun-dong grew as a residential hillside community. As Hanyang University expanded, generations of students passed through these narrow alleys, where student life and an old neighborhood gradually became part of the same landscape. Many of the old houses, stairways, and small neighborhood shops still remain today. Although redevelopment is slowly changing the area, these quiet streets continue to preserve a glimpse of Seoul's past.
