Interview with Patti LuPone - WNET 13 PBS Pledge Drive 1997

The legendary Broadway performer Patti LuPone sits down in the WNET studios in Manhattan during a 1997 pledge drive to talk about how she got into singing in plays, her time at Julliard, raising chickens, and how much the arts mean to her. She also talked about how the public television concert came together and the importance of non-commercial public television. This aired during the program "An Evening with Patti LuPone" on the PBS member station WNET out of Newark, NJ/New York, NY. Some of the interview was cut by the original recorder, and some of the pledge drive segments were left in as well. This VHS was sent to me from New Jersey.
