How to Easily Split and Add Keys to a 3D STL Model

In this video, I’ll show you how easy it is to cut, split and add alignment keys to a 3D model using ModelSplitter.com. I developed ModelSplitter because I was frustrated with how difficult something as simple as splitting a model for 3D printing could be. Blender is incredibly powerful, but it can have a steep learning curve for the average user, while Meshmixer is no longer actively developed. I wanted a much simpler way to do it — load your model, choose where you want to cut it, add your keys and export the parts ready for printing. I hope you find ModelSplitter easy to use.
