In this exclusive Agriculture.co.zw special, recorded ahead of Beef School 2026, host Tanya Zvoushe sits down with international cattle judge PJ Budler and Mark Hook, chairman of the Zimbabwe Boran Breeders' Society. PJ grew up on a fifth-generation farm in the Eastern Cape, moved to Texas in 2012 and has since worked in more than 130 countries and judged over 100 breeds. His message to Zimbabwean farmers is simple: profit lies in optimum, not maximum.
