He came to Daresbury following Just A Dance, his debut single on Creamfields Recordings, and a run of sold-out UK shows across the year. Halo gave him a 2pm slot on the Sunday and he played the full ninety minutes of it. Sheffield built him first. Love Me went to number two on SoundCloud, the bassline and garage rooms came next, and the house records followed once the crowd was already his. The route he took is still all over the set. Swung drums, warped vocal hooks, acid-tinged licks and a bassline that never sits still, played fast and read off the tent rather than off a plan.
