This video covers the full history of Vought International, the fictional corporation in The Boys, from Frederick Vought's Nazi experiments at Dachau to Compound V, The Seven and Homelander. This long-form, sleep-friendly documentary traces Vought from its founding to its fall in five parts. It begins with Frederick Vought, appointed chief physician of Dachau in 1939, and follows Vought-American's incorporation in 1950 and its 1952 turn toward entertainment. The middle sections cover Payback's failed 1984 mission in Nicaragua, Stan Edgar's business model and Madelyn Stillwell's management of The Seven. The video ends with a senator blackmailed into backing military supes and Sister Sage's influence on Homelander. What's covered in this video: Frederick Vought tests the V-One serum on prisoners at Dachau, creates Clara Risinger, later known as Stormfront, and marries her. Stormfront reveals her Nazi past and her marriage to Vought to Homelander in season two, episode six, "The Bloody Doors Off." Vought defects to the Allies in 1944 and brings his research and his wife to the United States. Vought-American is incorporated in 1950 as a pharmaceutical manufacturer and defense contractor, then restructures in 1952 toward the entertainment conglomerate Vought International. Payback, led by Soldier Boy, joins a 1984 CIA operation in Nicaragua under Grace Mallory that was authorized by CIA Director William J. Casey. In the ambush Swatto dies and Black Noir is burned, and Crimson Countess and Mindstorm betray Soldier Boy to the Russians. Soldier Boy returns radioactive, kills Crimson Countess, and is erased from Vought's official history. Stan Edgar keeps Black Noir masked for ratings, adopts Nadia Khayat, who becomes Victoria Neuman, and builds divisions such as Vought Special Services and Vought Studios. In "The Big Ride," Edgar tells Homelander that Vought is really a pharmaceutical company and that Compound V was given to terrorists to create demand for supes in national defense. Madelyn Stillwell, played by Elisabeth Shue, takes over Hero Management from The Legend, introduces A-Train, and pushes for a military contract around the Believe Expo. After The Boys kill Translucent, Stillwell and Ashley Barrett blame his death on an invented villain called El Diablo. The final parts cover the blackmail of a senator over military supes and Sister Sage teaching Homelander to wait for chaos.
