*Early Arrival* LAFD Working House Fire: FS58 (Pico-Robertson)

A Los Angeles Police Department West LA unit was patrolling the area of Preuss Road and Sawyer Street when they came upon a house fire at the 1800 block of south Preuss Road. They advised their dispatch of the fire and Los Angeles Fire Department units were dispatched to the scene. Engine 58 was first on scene and advised of a two-story, single family dwelling with heavy smoke showing from the second floor and attic. Firefighters went into the offensive mode as Engine 58 took fire attack, Engine 43 took backup fire attack, and Truck 92 took to the roof. It took 40 firefighters just over 20 minutes to extinguish the fire. All occupants of the house safely evacuated before firefighters' arrival. No injuries were reported.
