Simon Started With ZERO Interest…A 16 Year Old From Wigan Changed Every Single Word of That

Simon Cowell has sat behind that table for twenty years. He has heard every song choice imaginable. He knows within seconds whether a contestant has chosen the right song for their voice or the wrong one. And when Olivia Garcia walked onto the X Factor UK stage in 2016 at 16 years old and sang Alicia Keys’ Empire State of Mind Simon Cowell knew immediately. Wrong song. Not the right choice for that voice. Not the right vehicle for what this 16 year old from Wigan was clearly capable of delivering. Then she kept singing. And what came out of a 16 year old who had been revising for her GCSE exams the night before was so completely extraordinary and so completely beyond what the wrong song should have been able to contain that Simon Cowell did the one thing that made absolutely no logical sense given his opening verdict. He said yes. Wrong song. Then yes. Watch what a 16 year old from Wigan did to make both of those things happen simultaneously. 0:00 Olivia Garcia - X Factor UK 2016 S13 4:40 Olivia Garcia (Six-Chair Challenge) - X Factor UK 2016 S13 10:08 Olivia Garcia (Judges' Houses) - X Factor UK 2016 S13 15:10 Gifty Louise, Olivia Garcia and Kayleigh Marie Morgan (Eliminations) (Judges' Houses) - X Factor UK 2016 S13 17:09 Bonus Clips The X Factor UK Bonus Bundle 1 - Funny Judge Moments The X Factor UK Bonus Bundle 2 - Funny Judge Moments #AGT #BGT #XFactor #Idol #Viral ABOUT TOP VIRAL TALENT Welcome to Top Viral, your ultimate destination for the most jaw-dropping, heart-pounding, and unforgettable auditions from talent shows like America’s Got Talent, Britain’s Got Talent, The X Factor, and more from across the globe!
