Bodycam Video shows moment River City Police shoot 15 year old holding airsoft rifle

SUMMARY VIA RCPD River City, Florida On march 6th 2025 RCPD officers Trey sanders and Nathan Daytona were in a parking lot having a conversation after a Traffic stop, and noticed a 15 Year Old walking out a building carrying what was believed to be an AK-74 Rifle to the officers Officers quickly noticed the weapon and gave commands to the juvenile to drop the gun, He did not follow Police Commands and pointed the rifle at officers causing officer Sanders to fire 1 shot from his Smith And Wesson M&P 40 service pistol at the juvenile striking him in the leg AMR Paramedics arrived and transported the suspect with Non Life threatening Injuries and was later released, The suspect at this point has been charged with Section 806.13 Criminal Mischief second-degree misdemeanor of the Florida Penal Code
