Red Dirt Rangers and guests at Mercury Lounge 10/10/26

They started playing, no warning, and I rushed to film it from the beginning. They played so well that the only reason I stopped filming was because I could barely hold my hand up and my finger on the button kept hurting. In between I caught a really great performance. There was a guest guitar, who played lead along with the redoubtable Ben, since Coop was on vacation, and a guest drummer who subbed for Rick Gomez. Both of them have had years of experience backing up some pretty big-time bands, and it shows. Guest guitar: Jesse Aycock Guest drummer: Jake Lynn
