Scottish Power's Winning Medley at the North Berwick International Highland Games 2018

2020 The Year of Silence: During this dreadful year of silence I hope to bring you some interesting and notable recordings which have not previously been published on this channel. This is Scottish Power Pipe Band's prize winning medley performance at the North Berwick 23rd International Highland Games held on 11 August 2018. This a popular event held the week before the World Pipe Band Championships and it attracts many of the fine bands in Scotland for The Worlds. The band achieved first place rankings from the judges in all categories. It is playing under Pipe Major Christopher Armstrong and Lead Drummer Jake Jorgensen. The tunes played are: The Rattagan Ridge Slainte do Mhabu The Boys of the Town Lament for Mary MacLeod Duncan Lamont The Guards Club Recital Series Hanter Dro Golden Brown In this version of this medley the band replaced the previous opening march 'My Dream Valley on the Road to Glendaruel' with 'The Rattagan Ridge', an old favourite with the band.
