Werner Müller – Live in Tokyo 1970 | Rare Live Concert Recording | Full Album

🎺 WERNER MÜLLER – LIVE IN TOKYO Recorded November 29, 1970 at Tokyo Kosei Nenkin Hall, Japan A wonderful and rare live recording by Werner Müller and His Orchestra, recorded during their appearance at the Tokyo Kosei Nenkin Hall on November 29, 1970 and released in Japan in 1971 as “Werner Müller / Live in Tokyo” (4L-1). Werner Müller was one of the great masters of European easy listening and orchestral pop. In this Tokyo concert, his orchestra combines lush strings, powerful brass, rhythm section and the unmistakable big-band sound that made his recordings so distinctive. The programme ranges from contemporary hits such as Let It Be, Love Is Blue, El Condor Pasa and Raindrops Keep Fallin’ on My Head to international favourites including La Bamba, Dark Eyes, Casatschok and a spectacular Glenn Miller Medley. The concert also includes Japanese melodies such as Kōjō no Tsuki and Sōran Bushi, making this a fascinating musical document of Werner Müller’s 1970 visit to Japan. 🎧 Original analog recording This recording originates from a vintage LP. Some light record noise may therefore be audible, but the sound remains remarkably clear and dynamic for its age. Best enjoyed in stereo!
