There's a week left on the Guards of Atlantis II Gamefound campaign, check it out here: https://gamefound.com/projects/wolffd... Guards of Atlantis II is a really, really good board game. I'm not affiliated or being paid in any way, the game is just one of my all-time favorites. The blue minions were a great change of pace from painting the heroes. Don't lose heart if you're a fan of the board game who is just learning how to paint minis and this all seems very complicated - just dip your toes in as much as you feel comfortable, and remember that it's just putting paint on tiny plastic game pieces! 0:00 Intro 0:43 Mold lines and model clean-up 1:37 Priming 2:39 Testing out Xpress Paints and color scheme thoughts 3:35 Speedpaint/Contrast Paint (1st blue step) 4:00 Contrast (1st blue step) (I also misspoke here, switched up "Contrast" with "Speedpaint") 4:31 Comparison (1st blue step) 4:49 Xpress (2nd blue step) 5:40 Speedpaint (2nd blue step) 6:07 Contrast Paint (2nd blue step) 6:44 Comparison (2nd blue step) 6:54 Xpress (purple shadows - 3rd blue step) 7:38 Speedpaint (purple shadows - 3rd blue step) 7:57 Contrast/Wash (purple shadows - 3rd blue step) 8:28 Base 9:32 First stopping point (comparison between methods) 10:07 Drybrush very light blue 11:04 Pure white highlights 12:15 Tint weapons a different color 12:59 Quickly edge highlight weapons 13:14 Red glowing eyes 14:42 Extra base steps 15:44 Finale Intro music made by Kevin MacLeod (https://incompetech.com/).
