Heart Attack Ke Pehle 10 Minute: 3 Kaam Jo Jaan Bacha Sakte Hain
In a heart attack, the first 10 minutes decide everything. Not the blockage, not the hospital, not the doctor. The decisions the patient makes in those first ten minutes. This video explains, in simple Urdu and Hindi, exactly what to do when chest pain starts, how to recognise heart attack symptoms early, and the one sentence most people say that costs them their life.
You will learn the three actions to take immediately: stop all physical activity, call the ambulance yourself (1122 in Pakistan, 108 or 102 in India), and follow only the instructions the emergency operator gives you, including the correct way to take aspirin during a heart attack.
We also cover the heart attack warning signs most people miss. Not the movie version where a man clutches his chest and collapses. Real symptoms are often pressure in the middle of the chest that comes and goes, pain in the arm, jaw, neck, back or stomach, shortness of breath, cold sweat, nausea and sudden extreme fatigue. Roughly one in five heart attacks is silent. Heart attack symptoms in women are often different, with nausea, breathlessness and back or jaw pain instead of crushing chest pain, which is why their attacks are diagnosed late.
Why this matters especially for us: South Asians get heart attacks around five to ten years earlier than people in Western countries, and the average age of a first heart attack in South Asia is about 53.
Also in this video: why your son's car is far more dangerous than an ambulance, why driving yourself to hospital is the worst option, and why the viral "cough CPR" WhatsApp message is not just useless but actually dangerous.
Who this video is for: anyone over 40, anyone with diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol or a family history of heart disease, and especially family members who will be in the room when it happens. Share this at the dinner table this week.
