Designing an Entire App in 24 Hours AI vs. Professional Designer

In this video, I take on the ultimate challenge to test if AI can truly replace a professional UI/UX designer. I decided to design a full, functional habit-tracking app in under 24 hours using only Figma Make AI, while simultaneously building the same project myself using manual design techniques. We start by prompting ChatGPT for a unique app concept, avoiding basic ideas to see if AI can handle complex, constraint-based design challenges. Throughout the video, you will see my step-by-step process of choosing color palettes, creating onboarding flows, and designing user-centric interfaces. Finally, we go head-to-head, comparing the AI-generated output against my custom design to see which one performs better and offers a superior user experience. If you are curious about the future of design and how AI tools are shaping the industry, this experiment is for you.
