Damn this one was rough, arguably the hardest mission in the game (alongside Aire of Hours and The SageSpire). 37 Attempts for this run. I practiced this mission A LOT. I messed up so many strategies and still managed to get the run. I will upload a separate video showing all the strats as they should have occurred. Having to face Bahamut after an hour of gameplay is very draining. I had to take some breaks mid-run hence some skips. This was done in one sitting however. Phoenix: Gigaflare, Gouge Garuda: Wicked Wheel, Thunderstorm Shiva: Rift slip, Abyssal Vent Accessories: Bombardment bit, Reflection of Wind/Ice I’m am just going to go paste my notes for the legs. Crystalline Dominion Leg 1: A killing first group of enemies, target the first mage with thunderstorm then rift slip then wicked wheel (killing the mage outright will make sure the other mage does not use cure). For second wave makesure a level 4 abyssal vent is ready to go and kill the bats with abyssal vent then giga flare, so it leaves a 1 on 1 with the Dragoon Leg 2: kill of first crab with thunderstorm after building metre with other abilities Use gigaflare in the last crab after small combo then finish if with thunderstorm Leg 3: Abyssal vent straight away. Target drake and get to 3x then use level 4 abyssal vent straight away. You can use Gigaflare to hit both the drake and the humans enemies to score points Leg 4: Abyssal vent straight away, then go to start of arena and kill the first bat, then the next bat will agro into you, kill that one. Then the third. Once at level 4 vent let it rip then finish of remaining enemies. For second wave distract cannoneer then take him out, then take out the hammer dude Leg 6: Abyssal vent straight away. Lunge into rift slip then lock on to the bat behind the bat the use gigaflare to instantly take out two bats. Rift slip then lock onto the third bat. While locked on to the bat dodge the dragoon dodge then use rift slip into thunderbolt then wicked wheel to take out the bat. During this time, Jill will keep the mage Aggrod! use permafrost on Dragoon to build up metre then stall to level 4 abyssal vent Leg 8: White dragon With the crystal homing projectiles you can double perfect dodge to make it safe For Emanation, the most consistent way to dodge the series of lasers is to stay mid screen then slowly doge the three lasers with shiva as you move closer to the white dragon do this shiva past the first laser, do some jump cancels towards dragon then shiva the second laser, then shift rift slip when the third laser appears to a fast position behind the dragon Dragons dance is doge lasers forward then the homing crystals forward then the lasers backwards! Leg 9: Abyssal tear straight away. Go to the purple ball with lunge then rift slip then use gigaflare and hit bit purple balls at once. This will do enough damage to explode both balls. From this point use permafrost to build up metre and stall to level 4 abyssal vent then go ham on the birds. (Always keep your camera on the birds as there sprint attack can hit you easily leg 12: Use abyssal vent, Use megaflare straight away to kill two spectres then do some damage to the third one, finish of the third one with a thunderbolt. Then use abyssal vent level 3 or 4 on the remaining spectres, then Garuda all three into a wicked wheel. For phase two go into the little corridor then Garuda one of the spectres to ensure you do not get sniped while combining Leg 13: Only attempt permafrost on the griffon and use gigaflare to kill human enemies during the griffon stagger. Kill all humanoids before the start of Phase 2! Have a level 4 abyssal vent ready and gigaflare to go for wave 2 (When the griffon has half HP) to hit all the spectres instantly. While the spectres are down after the abyssal vent, permafrost the griffon then Garuda all the remaining spectres then hit them with a gigaflare Leg 14: Against Necromorph have a level 4 abyssal vent ready to go for the purple phase (around half life) and a gigaflare (you can essentially remove the barrier before the electric even starts) If Necromorph is too far away, do not try and parry his rush attack as the timing from far away means he is more active, use shiva instead For all his sword attacks only permafrost! -The follow up on the sword attack is dependant on the direction that he swings 1. if to clives right then he does the delayed aerial attack 1. If to Clive’s left then he does the fast full screen attack (use shiva and dodge instantly after permafrost) For “engulfed flame strafe to the right then permafrost when he close (this is safe to do as long as you are strafing then permafrost as he gets close).
