Eclipse Pantheon Is Now Stronger! Patch 26.16 League of Legends Season 16 2026 Trying out some more Eclipse rush. In this Akali matchup I think going hexdrinker 1st then Eclipse would have been more ideal. She starts to hit hard past lvl6 and Panth has one of the lowest base MR's in the game. The shield does help a bit in these fights with her. During mid-late it depends on how good she is but Akali can definitely start to beat you despite an early lead with her outplay potential in her kit. The moment I died to the poppy gank in top lane, this was when the game started to throw back into the enemy team and we could have lost if we threw anymore from this point on. It ended it up being a constant deathmatch. The early game was won not just because of my jg, but because of the cheater recall wave management. I put the wave state in a place where it opens up the correct timing for my jg to gank. Even if they didnt gank, I still would have been able to avoid all enemy jg ganks and farm freely and possible playing to fight solo when they are near my tower. Just in general, I do think taking Eclipse BC can be standard again for soloq purposes. Finally there is another option than just BC Sky every game or DD BC.
