Is Tuesday Night Heffron Australia's Most Notorious Crit Race?

I went into my first Tuesday Night Heffron experience thinking it’s B Grade, so how bad can it really be? I have a solid FTP and I can push decent watts, so I figured I’d be fine. I was dead wrong. From the moment we rolled off the line, it was full gas. I quickly realized that while my engine was there, my race craft was non-existent. TNH isn't just about who has the biggest lungs. It’s a high speed masterclass in when to brake, when to coast, and how to hold a line when 20 riders are hitting a corner at 45kph. This race was a massive reality check. I spent the first half of the video just trying to survive the chaos, mentally tapping out halfway through as the big numbers started to take their toll. I’ll be honest, I was being a bit of a softie. But as the laps ticked down, the confidence started to come. I started learning the rhythm of the track, even if my legs were screaming for me to quit. If you’ve ever raced Saturday Heffron, forget everything you know. This is a different beast entirely. We’ll be back, hopefully with a better strategy and fewer wasted watts. P.S.
