In this episode we explore the story and lore of the Rings of Power, their creation by the Elven smith Celebrimbor and Sauron who appeared in fair form under the name of Annatar.
We also discuss the 3 elven rings, Nenya, Narya and Vilya their creation and powers and how they were different from the lesser rings.
The lesser rings which are the 9 rings that were given to men and the 7 that were given to the dwarven clans are talking about, along with their detrimental effect to the user, i.e the kings of men becoming ring-wraiths or Nazgul, or the dwarven rings turning them greedy.
Finally we discuss the one ring, its creation in Mount Doom and the powers it held. We also discuss its effects such as longevity and the temptation of the ring.
