A special school day for our family here in Alberta, Canada! 🇨🇦❤️ Our son became one of the emcees for his school's Orange Shirt Day event for the first time, and we couldn't be prouder! He also received a Brave Award, making the day even more memorable for us as parents. 🥹🎤 Orange Shirt Day is an important opportunity to learn about the history and ongoing impact of residential schools and to reflect on Truth and Reconciliation in Canada. 🧡 After the school event, we headed to the shooting range for the kids' shooting practice—but when we arrived, we discovered there was no scheduled session that day! 😅 Plans don't always work out, and that's part of our real, unscripted family life in Canada.
