I found a skirt I loved in the charity shop but it was far too short for me, so instead of leaving it behind I brought it home and decided to do a simple amendment to it which was very easy and quick and just shows you how you can easily change an item so I added beautiful lace cut from an old tablecloth to the hem and turned it into something I’ll actually wear. ✂️♻️ I hope this inspires you to look at charity shop finds differently and see the potential in second-hand treasures! ❗️ Found The Video of Valu e? Instead of leaving it behind, I brought it home and gave it a simple makeover using lace cut from an old vintage-style tablecloth. By sewing the lace onto the hem, I was able to add length, create a softer look, and turn the skirt into something comfortable and wearable for me. It’s such an easy sewing project and a great reminder that second-hand clothes don’t have to stay exactly as they are. I love finding ways to reuse and repurpose fabrics, linens, and thrifted treasures, and I hope this little project inspires you to see possibilities where others might not.
