We Lifted the Entire House! (because the ceiling was too low)

The first level of our 1940s lake house was way to short. Coming in at only 6’8” and 6’0” under the beam. To make this ceiling an appropriate height we decided to lift the entire second level and add 2ft to the foundation. While doing that we also cut in bigger windows and patio doors as well as strengthening the foundation itself before setting it back down.
