Jaguar XJC V12 – Episode 16: After All This Work… It’s Finally Complete! We've reached a huge milestone with my 1977 Jaguar XJC V12 manual conversion — after months of work, the car is finally complete! In Episode 16, I finish off the remaining jobs and take a look at how everything has come together. The manual gearbox is installed, the custom interior is back together, the new ski-slope panel is finished and the XJC finally looks like a complete car again. There are just two final jobs remaining: refitting the bonnet and filling the car with all the necessary lubricants and fluids. It's been a long journey getting to this point. The conversion has involved far more than simply replacing the automatic gearbox — from alignment problems and custom fabrication to wiring, exhaust work, interior modifications and making parts from scratch. But now, for the first time, I can stand back and see the finished result. And most importantly... we're finally getting very close to driving it!
