In today’s video, we are performing a complete teardown of a 2015 Yamaha Viking 686cc engine to assess the internal damage and prepare for a full rebuild. This step-by-step engine disassembly is the first phase of our restoration project, allowing us to inspect the cylinder, piston, crankshaft, and transmission for wear or failure. I walk through the process of stripping the engine down to the bare cases, identifying which components can be salvaged and which parts will need to be ordered to get this Side-by-Side (SXS) back into service.
