In the search of Washington compliant rifle that accepts AR mags, the number one pick was and always will be the Ruger American Ranch. For a good 6-8 months we couldn't find any through Ruger, FFLs, or any distributors. This led to me finding the 13 year old platform of the Mossberg MVP short actions.
